Description

This valance was originally used in the 2000 Brenthaven Idea House in Nashville, TN. It was used again (as shown above) in the guest apartment of the 2001 Carriage Park Idea House in Tampa.

Fabrics Needed:

Decorative fabric for "swag" sections of valance front
Decorative fabric for middle and side pleats (front and back)
Ivory/white drapery lining for "swag" sections of valance back.
Drapery interlining (to add body and shape)

This valance can be adapted to fit any window width.

The valance works best when made from a medium-weight decorative fabric. The pleats show up best if a contrasting fabric is used.
