Inside and out, this classical house teems with ideas that reflect the historic charm of traditional, Southern architecture. Abberley Lane derives its character from classical proportions and precise detailing. Designed by architect John Tee, the exterior of this house features ornamental ironwork, plantation shutters, French doors, fanlight transoms, copper accents and a formal entrance marked by a pediment and columns. The interior of this home complements the handsome façade. Inside, there's an iron balcony, similar to the exterior porch railing, overlooking the family room. Also, copper crown molding in the kitchen echoes the copper roofing at the front porch. The interior is bright and open, with high ceilings and careful placement of windows and doors creatiing a spacious effect throughout the design.
